〈움직이는 데이터〉에서는 특히 AI 기술과 관련하여 데이터가 어떻게 이동하는지를 살펴봅니다. 이때 ‘이동’은 두 가지로 이해할 수 있습니다. 첫째, 데이터는 어떤 방식으로 어디에서 어디로 이동하는가입니다. AI 시스템이 만들어지고 활용되는 과정 속에서 데이터가 이동하는 추상적·사회적·물리적 경로를 짚어봅니다. 둘째, 데이터는 무엇을 이동시키는가입니다. 데이터의 이동은 노동, 생태계, 자본의 이동과 어떠한 관계를 맺는지를 함께 살펴봅니다. 특히 2025년 대한민국 AI 산업 정책의 핵심 키워드인 ‘AI 고속도로’와 데이터센터를 주요 사례로 삼아, 데이터의 움직임을 둘러싼 여러 맥락과 질문을 참여자들과 함께 논의하고자 합니다.

In “Moving Data,” we examine the movements of data, especially in relation to AI technologies. This notion of “movement” can be understood in two ways. First: How does data move, and from where to where? What are the abstract, social, and physical pathways that data follows in the processes of creating and deploying AI systems? Second: What does data itself move? How are these flows of data connected to the movements of labor, ecosystems, and capital? Taking the notion of the “AI Highway”—a key policy keyword in South Korea’s AI industry in 2025—and data centers as major transit points, this program invites participants to discuss the diverse contexts and questions surrounding the circulation of data
