< 서식지 찾기와 아카이브에 관하여>는 2024 새로운 태양들 참여자 한톨의 기획으로 3회에 걸쳐 진행되는 워크숍입니다. ‘서식지’를 주제로 한 연속 모임으로, 돈이나 소유권으로 규정되지 않는 자리의 감각을 탐구하며 나의 자리, 나의 서식지를 다시 상상하고 나누는 과정에 초점을 둡니다. 첫 모임에서는 식물·동물이 땅과 맺는 관계에서 ‘연결과 연대’의 감각을 이야기하며 인간에게 필요한 시선을 모색합니다. 이어 두 번째 모임에서는 자신이 자라날 자리와 그곳에 심을 식물을 상상하며, 이를 가능하게 하는 아카이빙의 방법론을 살펴봅니다(7월 6일, 안국동 한옥). 마지막 세 번째 모임에서는 각자가 찾은 서식지를 공유하고 서로를 그 자리에 초대하며, 환대와 연대, 그리고 다채로운 생태적 공존의 가능성을 모색하는 시간을 갖습니다(8월 3일, 포에버 갤러리).

Finding My Habitat and Archiving for Myself is a three-part workshop series organized by Hantol, a participant in New Suns 2024. Centered on the theme of “habitat,” the series explores ways of imagining and sharing one’s place beyond money or ownership, focusing instead on the sense of dwelling, connection, and solidarity. The first gathering reflects on how plants and animals relate to the land without possession, considering what perspectives humans might learn from them. The second meeting (July 6, Anguk-dong Hanok) invites participants to envision a place where they might grow and to imagine a plant to nurture there, while also engaging with methods and practices of archiving that make such processes possible. The third and final session (August 3, Forever Gallery) will bring these individual habitats together, creating a shared space to present them, to welcome one another into them, and to explore hospitality, solidarity, and the possibilities of diverse ecological coexistence.
